Authorization Codes for Large Transfers

International transfers exceeding USD 10,000 require a one-time authorization code for added protection.

How Authorization Codes Work

When you initiate a large international transfer, a unique, single-use authorization code is generated and sent to your registered mobile number and email address. You must enter this code within 10 minutes to complete the transfer — after which it expires and cannot be reused.

  • Automatically triggered for transfers over USD 10,000
  • Delivered via SMS and email simultaneously
  • Expires after 10 minutes for security

Multi-Layer Protection

International transfers benefit from multiple security layers: your login credentials, your transfer PIN, and the authorization code for large amounts. This three-tier approach means even if one layer is compromised, your funds remain protected.

  • Two-factor authentication at login
  • Transfer PIN for all outgoing transfers
  • Authorization code for high-value international transfers

How to Send Money Internationally

Select International Transfer

From your dashboard, choose "International Transfer" and enter the recipient's full name, bank details including SWIFT/BIC code, and IBAN or account number.

Choose Currency & Amount

Select the destination currency and enter the amount. You will see the live exchange rate and the total cost, including any fees, before you confirm.

Verify & Authorize

Enter your transfer PIN. For transfers over USD 10,000, you will also need to enter the authorization code sent to your phone and email.

Track Your Transfer

Receive a SWIFT tracking reference. Monitor your transfer status in real time as it moves through the correspondent banking network to its destination.

Frequently Asked Questions

We use live mid-market exchange rates sourced from leading foreign exchange data providers. The rate you see when initiating the transfer is locked in for the transaction. We do not add hidden markups — a transparent conversion fee of 0.5% applies for transfers over USD 5,000, while transfers under that amount receive fee-free conversion.

You will need the recipient's full name (as it appears on their bank account), their bank's SWIFT/BIC code, the recipient's IBAN or account number, the destination country, and the amount in the chosen currency. For transfers to certain countries, additional information such as a purpose code or intermediary bank details may be required.

International transfers cannot be cancelled once they have been processed due to the nature of correspondent banking. However, if you contact customer support immediately after initiating a transfer, we may be able to place a recall request with the correspondent bank. Recalls are not guaranteed and may incur additional fees from intermediary banks.

Standard international transfers have a daily limit of $25,000. Express international transfers allow up to $50,000 per day. Higher limits are available for verified business accounts. Transfers exceeding USD 10,000 require an authorization code for security.
